This very beautiful white Carrara marble mantel was made in the Louis XVI style in the 19th century. It is exceptional by its rich carved decoration. The front of the entablature is adorned with garlands of flowers and ribbons. On either side of the center of the entablature appear panels framed with lines of pearls and garnished with flowers, which are carved in high relief of a very rare quality of sculpture.
