This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century. This style of rounded corners is typical of the Louis XVI style firpelaces made during the late 19th century. The legs are fluted and the cabling is topped with asparagus tips. The center of the entablature is carved with intertwining laurel branches.
The sides of the fireplace are paneled.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert but without any hearth. A hearth can be made to order.
