This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made during the 19th century out of Blanc de Carrare marble. The rounded corners are fluted, filleted and decorated with carved asparagus heads. The top of the jambs are decorated with square rosettes. The centre of the entablature is decorated with a floral medallion.
The sides of this fireplace are equipped with air vents.
This fireplace comes with its original cast iron insert which was painted but will be cleaned in our workshop. The marble floor is not available but we can make one to order.
The original pierglass is available under ref. 10040.
