This beautiful Regence style fireplace was made out of Panazeau marble during the 19th century.
A fine short moulding runs along the jambs which are curved at the top. The entabalture's centre is decorated with a delicately carved foliaged shell.
The fireplace's sides are decorated with air vents.
This fireplace is sold with its original copper insert but without any marble floor. A marble floor could be made to order.
The original mirror is available reference 9944.
