In good condition. Restoration on one jamb. Some light restorations. Small chips and light stains.
This beautiful Louis XVI style antique fireplace was made in the first half of the 19th century. The low relief sculptures in Statuary Carrara marble are set in red marble from the north.
The entablature is carved with a large curved bow and arrow on a background of foliage. The jambs are adorned with lions’ heads, interlaced arrows and laurel branches.
This fireplace features sculpture of exceptional quality.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
