This beautiful antique fireplace is a "rich" Louis XV style model, typical of the 19th century.
The central shell is thus adorned with foliage and volutes whose reliefs are magnified by the whiteness of the Carrara marble. The legs are adorned with shells and quite charming floral motifs, and the entablature is decorated with small rosettes.
The sides of this beautiful fireplace are panneled and the jambs are fluted.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor .
