This Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century in veined White Carrara marble.
The entablature is centered with a laurel wreath and olive branches, tied together by a ribbon. The endblocks carved with square paterae, supported on stop fluted column jambs decorated with husks.
The original cast iron insert is decorated with a cane ending on both sides with pine cones, surrounded by olive branches. The same pattern is on the upper part, enriched with a central paterae.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
The original overmantel is available under the reference #10196.
