Beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace with Neo-Classical decor made of Carrara Statuary marble in the 19th century. The center of the frieze is carved with fine garlands of bells and roses. The jambs are finely decorated with Ionic capitals.
Beautiful color game is made by marble inlays of Yellow Brocatelle from Sienna on the frieze and the jambs.
The top is worked in the manner of a cornice.
This fireplace is sold with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace and with its original marble floor.
