This antique fireplace was made in the 19th century in white veined Carrara marble.
It belongs to the Louis XV style, characterised by a curved shelf topping on a serpentine front centered with a shell and also with shells on endblocks. The angled jambs are curved and are ending with footblocks.
This fireplace is sold with its original three squares marble floor but without any fireplace insert (this one could be made on request : see enameled insert ).
