In good condition. The mantel top is restored.
This large Regence style fireplace was made in the 19th century. The imposing dimensions belong to the Louis XIV style, softened by the Regence style. The entablature is decorated with a large bollection resting on the jambs. These are tapered and slightly curved. The Red from the North marble has beautiful white veins.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
