This antique Regence style fireplace was made during the 19th century in a beautiful Violet Breccia marble whose veins give relief and movement. While the large dimensions of this fireplace are a trace of the Louis XIV style , the lines are bending, characteristic of the Regence style. The curved jambs and slightly fluted support a frieze decorated with a large bollection. The frieze is also paneled and decorated in its center with a fine medallion.
This fireplace comes with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (ask us for marble availability).
