In excellent condition. One antique restoration on a baguet.
This imposing Regence style fireplace was realized during the 19th century in Seravezza marble finely carved and molded.
The top is rounded. The front is centered with a foliated shell resting on a bolection and with foliages and moldings on the corners. The jambs forming curved, fluted pilasters with ""rudentures"" and ornamented with foliages.
The original cast iron insert is decorated with scrolls and garlands of flowers in a frame of ribboned canes.
This fireplace is sold with its cast iron insert but without any marble floor.
