Good condition. Two cracks that have been set back together (see pictures).
This Louis XVI style mantel was made of veined Carrara marble in the late 19th century.
Its straight entablature is adorned on its center with a beautiful laurel crown from where are also escaping branches. The corners receive square roses, typical of the Louis XVI style. The entablature is supported by elegant and moulded jambs lightly curved.
Sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace and with its original marble floor.
