Louis XVI style mantel carved in Carrara marble in the second half of the 19th century. The entablature is decorated with a frieze of rudent alternating with acanthus leaves and two circular rosettes at the ends. The jambs are formed by fluted pilasters with acanthus leaves, all resting on square bases.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
