Louis XVI style mantel carved in the second half of the 19th century in Carrara marble. The entablature is adorned with a frieze of pearls and decorated with two square rosettes at the ends and a circular rosette in the centre. The fluted jambs with rudenture are adorned with asparagus.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
