Good condition. The marble floor is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
This Louis XVI style mantel was made in the 19th century of rare Verde di Prato marble.
Its fluted and curved jambs are adorned with gitl bronze asparagus heads. They support a straigh header, also curved in the corner and adorned with gitl bronze roses and pearls friezes. We also find these very same frieze framing the mantel's insert.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
