This Louis XVI style mantel was carved in Carrara marble in the second half of the 19th century. The entablature is decorated with a central trophy of laurel branches tied with a ribbon. The jambs are composed of two fluted and rudented half columns topped by capitals adorned with acanthus leaves and are resting on circular bases.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor.
