This mantel was made of half statuary marble in the late 19th century.
Its straight lines and decor are typical of the Louis XVI style. Indeed, we can find, decorating the middle and the corners of the headers, beautiful roses. The header is supported by fluted jambs adorned with asparagus heads.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
