This exceptionally beautiful Regence style fireplace in white Carrara marble was made in the 19th century. Of a rare model, this fireplace combines rich decoration and small dimensions. The entablature decorated with moulded panels is embellished in the middle with a shield festooned with flowers and foliage. The fluted and reeded jambs, curved in their upper part, support this entablature which is highlighted by a wide moulding that is continued around the sides of the fireplace.
The sides of this fireplace feature decorated air vents.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and its original three squares marble floor (Red from the North marble) which is broken but will be cleaned in our workshop.
