This Louis XVI style fire fender in gilt bronze was made in the 19th century. The fender is perforated with lancet arches displaying a leaf. The heads of andirons are each decorated with an urn on fire on a pedestal also decorated with a torch. Andirons are decorated with masks crowned with laurels and garlands.
Many chiselling details are visible thanks to the quality of the bronze and the gilding.
