From the second period of the reign of Louis XIV, this large bracket is beautifully balanced. A broad curve rises up from the vertical post to the horizontal one; a motif called “pig’s tail” falls from the center and a few light volutes create a harmonious composition. Beautiful wrought iron piece, with a lightness that announces the Regence style.
