Carved marble tabernacle with an architectural type structure of pilasters supporting an entablature resting on a strong base. A winged angle head fills the tympanum under the arch above the space where the Eucharist is reserved during mass. The pilasters are carved with a ribbon chain of knots and acorns. A large cornice of multi layer moldings linked in the center by a rectangular clasp adorned with an acanthus leaf. The base bears the Roman numerals C, D, XIII meaning 1513. This most certainly is a commemorative date carved later
