Description
Grand Neo-Renaissance style mantel made in terracotta in the 19th century. The top lintel is adorned with a shield bearing an unidentified coat of arms. The top of the mantel is in the shape of a cornice crowned with several finials. At the center of this cornice rests a helmet with a plume, which evokes medieval and Renaissance period armors.
