This Louis XVI style firepalce was made in Carrara marble at the end of the 19th century.
Its jambs slightly curved are adorned in their upper parts with a large acanthus leave. They support an entablature showing on its center a trophy composed laurel branches knotted by a ribbon and on the angles square roses. The slab is a modern work made after.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
