This Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century. The white Carrara marble highlights the sculpture of the acanthus leaves that cover the top of the consoles and take the form of square rosettes and an oval medallion on the entablature. The central medallion is framed by two well-defined panels and a thin central molding runs through the jambs.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert and original marble floor.
