This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was realized in the 19th century in a white Carrara marble. The frieze is decorated with an acanthus leaf nicely sculpted in the center, framed by pearls frieze panels. The rounded corners are composed by square rosettes, supported by fluted and roughened pilasters completed by three asparagus heads. The marble of Carrara gives a timeless elegance to this fireplace with sober and refined lines. This fireplace, of small dimensions, is a rare model, by the quality of its decor.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert but without the original marble floor. This one could be made to order.
