This desk was built in the 19th century. The plateau presents a pheasant decor and its pheasant female in a lacustrine landscape, inlaid with different wood species and inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The decoration is signed "Martin". Superb quality of the marquetry including the representation of the wings of small insects (dragonflies) with inlaid mother-of-pearl.
