Antique Louis XV style mantel realized in the 19th century in Carrara marble. The jambs are adorned with beautiful filleted flutes and palmettes in the upper part on a scroll supporting the shelf. The shelf rests on a serpentine entablature with oblong moldings adorned in its center with a stylized shell framed with foliage and twigs.
This mantel is sold with its original cast iron interior but without hearth floor. This one can be made on demand (depending on the availability of the marble).
