Louis XVI style fireplace in Arabescato marble, featuring a straight façade and detached fluted columns with Corinthian capitals. The frieze is decorated at the center with a sculpted ribbon knot flanked by foliage in relief. Each end of the frieze rests on a fully rounded, fluted column with molded base and capital. The interior is composed of a cast iron insert adorned with garlands and medallions, typical of the second half of the 19th century. The mantel shelf follows the straight line of the composition.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron interior adapted to this fireplace and with its hearth slab in a slightly different marble than that of the fireplace.
