This set of wrought-iron railings consists of several straight sections—intended for balconies or landings—as well as raked (inclined) sections designed for staircases. All share the same design, ensuring a cohesive architectural aesthetic.

The handrail, made of molded flat iron, terminates at one end in a scrolled volute. It surmounts a frieze of square-section bars, framed at the bottom by a horizontal rail. Below this rail, vertical bars flank a recurring motif: two back-to-back C-scrolls, joined at the top by a metal collar and ending in a pair of small, opposing volutes. The design then expands into stepped, hooked forms (*crossettes*), culminating in two large, inward-curling volutes secured at their base by a second collar. At the ends of each section, a half-motif completes the composition.

The raked sections adapt this design to the incline of the staircase; the volutes and hooked forms are elongated to follow the slope, while the vertical bars remain upright. The components are joined using collars and bands, in keeping with traditional ironworking techniques. Each section is equipped with its original mounting lugs for installation.
