This large antique Napoleon III style tumeau mirror was made out of gilded wood and stucco towards the end of the 19th century. The straight and elegant lines are enhanced by an elaborate decor featured in the upper part of the trumeau mirror. The decor features a double flower garland and foliage enclosing a pair of birds with their wings spread; impressively realistic.
