Oxidation of the mirror which is in three pieces. Wear but restoration is possible.
This large antique Louis XVI style overmantel pier glass was made out of wood and gilded stucco in the 19th century. The frame has an important frieze of flowers inscribed in interlacing. The upper part of the mirror is decorated with knotted ribbons. The upper corners are decorated with poppy flowers in high relief with acanthus leaves.
