An imposing double cast iron door dating from the 20th century, featuring an elegant geometric design composed of symmetrical scroll and crossbar motifs. Each leaf is structured by six openwork panels adorned with wrought iron compositions, surmounted by interlocking arches in the upper section. The solid lower section is covered with old, flaking paint, attesting to its authenticity and past use.
The entire piece is made of solid cast iron, with the finish left in its original condition. A few elements are missing, including a hinge, the lock, and the locking mechanism for the back. The frame intended for a pane of glass is also visible.
