This Louis XV style fireplace was made during the 1990s. Its simple shape contrasts with the opening of the fireplace with bears differing lines. The entablature and the peaks are enriched by rockery features carved in very low relief.

Rare antique fireback , dated 1687, depicting the Damned of Hell. A fireback of the same model is illustrated in the book by Henri Carpentier ("Les plaques de cheminée") and is reputed to belong to the collections of the museum of Arlon.

Cast iron fireback with coat of arms of Lorraine, dated 1706

This cast iron fireback presents the arms of Lorraine as worn by the Dukes of Lorraine since the 16th century. The coat of arms in the center is no longer very legible but one can guess the arms of Leopold I (1679 - 1729) revealing the different titles he bore: King of Jerusalem, Naples, Hungary and Aragon; Duke of Anjou and Bar, of Gelderland and Juliers. The arms are surmounted by a crown relating to his status and encircled by a pair of standing eagles with the Lorraine cross around their necks. The plaque is dated 1706.
