Important cupboard made out of carved walnut in the first half of the 19th century, which creation is attributed to Claude-Aimé Chenavard.
French ornemental designer, painter and draftsman, Claude-Aimé Chenavard was born in 1798. In the 1830s, he introduced the Renaissance style for French furniture, contributing to the renewal of the Louis-Philippe style.
