This very beautiful stone well was made during the 18th century in the tourainoise region. Height of 173cm, it is topped with a saddleback roof supported by four columns. The roof is crowned with a vase made out of the same stone. Originally a wooden hand crank system, serving to pull up the water, with the help of a chain.
