This Napoleon III spark guard adorned with flower garlands and a trophy of trumpets
was executed in the second half of the 19th century.
It features characteristic ornamentation of the Louis XVI style: its frame is adorned with a beaded interlaced frieze. The meshed part of the object is decorated with two delicate flower garlands held by ribbons, and in the center, a trophy of trumpets is suspended. The handle takes the form of a bow.
