This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white marble from Carrara in the 19th century. Jambs have a winding in their upper part while the lower part is fluted and decorated with stylized heads of asparagus. The center of the frieze is decorated with an acanthus leaves medallion.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
