In good condition. Light stain on the top.
Louis XVI style Carrara marble fireplace with pilasters from the 19th century. The jambs are slightly tapered with a decor of pilasters with regular and profound fluting and are filleted a third way up. The center of the frieze and the top of the jambs are also decorated with filleted flutes, and recessed panels on either side.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
