This antique Louis XVI style mantel was made in the late 19th century in Carrara marble.
The curved jambs carved with filleted flutes adorned with plant motifs support a frieze decorated with crowns and laurel branches tied with a ribbon.
The molded top is slightly curved and presents projections in the corners above a rosette decoration.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
