This beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century out of Paonazzo marble .
The entablature is finely decorated with a Vitruvian frieze inspired by the Antiquity, where each wave alternates with a floral motif. In the center, a foliated motif is attached by a ribbon of pearls.
The pilasters are adorned with square rosettes and covered with oak leaves; A row of vertical pearls finishes this sophisticated decoration.
The sides are paneled.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
