This exceptionally beautiful Regence style fireplace in white Carrara marble was made in the 19th century. Of a rare model, this fireplace combines rich decoration and small dimensions. The entablature adorned with moulded panels is embellished in the middle with a coat of arms including flowers and foliage. The fluted and reeded jambs, curved in their upper part, support this entablature which is highlighted by broad moulding that continues around the sides of the fireplace.
The sides of this fireplace are adorned with air vents.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert (painted but to be repainted in matt black) but without any marble floor. This could be made to order.
