Louis XVI style fireplace carved in Carrara marble during the second half of the 19th century. The panelled entablature is adorned with two laurel branches tied with a ribbon and two bouquets of flowers in vases on each sides. The slightly curved jambs are adorned at the top with large falling acanthus leaves and decorated with pearls.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
