This fireplace was made in the late 19th century out of Carrara marble.
Taking its curved lines from the Louis XV style, the Pompadour mantel is recognizable thanks to the central medallion adorning the center of the entablature. The entablature is supported by two curved jambs adorned with a paneled decoration and scrolls.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
