This fireplace was made in the end of the 19th century in Carrara marble.
It is adorned with a sculpted decoration mainly composed of acanthus leaves. Indeed, we can find it on the center of the entablature framed by pearls friezes and also on the upper parts of the jambs also underlined by a frieze of pearls. The square roses, which we find on the same place on the Louis XVI style fireplace, come also to decorate the upper corners.
This fireplace is sold with its original marble floor and a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace.
