Louis XVI style white marble mantel from the late 19th century. The entablature is decorated with a bronze thyrsus around which scrolls of grape leaves unfold on either side of a central ribbon bow. The jambs, resting on square bases, are fluted pilasters adorned with asparagus rudents.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
