This exquisite antique Empire style fireplace was made at the beginning of the 19th century out of a rare Antique Green marble. The jambs are made up of columns in a very high relief, decorated with bronze rings at the top and at the bottom. The entablature is decorated with mouldings and a bronze rosette in its center. The top of the jambs are also furnished with bronze square bows. The chiselling and the quality of the bronze is oustanding.
This fireplace is sold without any insert or hearth.
