Rare antique Louis XV period fireplace made out of stone in the 18th century. The jambs are carved with panels. The frieze, decorated at its ends with spandrels, is decorated in the center with a small, reversed shell. Some traces of polychromy attest of the ancient practice of painting fireplaces, especially after the death of king Louis XVI.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
