This stone mantel was made in the 18th century, its sculpted decor is typical of the Louis XV style.
Its curved entablature with sharp edges is adorned on its center with a beautiful stylized shell underlined by an oblong moulding. The cut sides jambs supporting the entablature are decorated in their upper parts with projecting scrolls adorned with a small acanthus leave.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for stone availability).
