This transition style oak panelling was made at the end of the 19th century.
It is composed of a mantel and its overmantel, a double door and a panneauté décor with a rhythm of Louis XV and Louis XVI style carved decorations such as stylized inhabited shells or garlands of flowers.
The overmantel, adorned with carved floral elements, surmounts a Louis XV style oak mantel. The fluted and acanthus leaf jambs support a serpentine entablature with an oblong molding adorned in its center with a stylized shell framed with scrolls inhabited by acanthus leaves and flowers.
